Alex Berthrong, DVM

Alex Berthrong, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Alex graduated from UC Davis, California in 2005 and began practicing medicine at Milner Veterinary Hospital in 2007, he has since become one of the lead doctors. His professional interests include soft tissue surgery and abdominal ultrasound. While not a primary focus, Dr. Alex also enjoys seeing ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, and other “pocket pets”.  In his spare time, He enjoys spending time with his wife, 4 kids, 4 dogs, 3 cats, 7 goats, and an uncertain number of chickens.

Angela Turra, DVM

Angela Turra, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Turra is also a graduate of Oregon State University. She graduated in June of 2003, has been with us at Milner Vet since December 2003 and is now practicing part-time. Dr. Turra is also a member of the AVMA. Her husband, two children, two dogs, three cats, five chickens, and one pony keep her busy in her free time.

Hannah Mauck, DVM

Dr. Mauck is currently with us part-time. She too is a graduate of Oregon State University. She has been practicing here at Milner Vet since 2004. Dr. Mauck is also a member of the AVMA.

Megan Glasere, DVM

Megan Glasere, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Glasere graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. She also received her masters degree from Tufts University in Animals and Public Policy in 2016. While in the St. Kitts she created a rescue group in which over 100 island cats were rescued and found loving homes. Although she loves caring for all animals, her primary professional interests include cat behavior, feral cat management, and internal medicine. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, and spending time with her friends, family and four cats. She is also canine and feline fear free certified which allows her to give pets a more relaxing and comfortable experience.
Christa Finley, DVM

Christa Finley, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Christa graduated from Michigan State University in 2019. She grew up in Indiana and has lived in Michigan, Vermont, Pennsylvania, and Oregon, but prefers Oregon most of all. Dr. Christa’s clinical interests include soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, pain management, and dermatology. She loves working with dog and cat patients and has a fondness for cows from her dairy medicine experiences. Her two black and white rescue animals Tina (short for Fontina) and Zola (short for Gorgonzola) exemplify her love of all things related to cows and cheese. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Oregon VMA, and Portland VMA. In her spare time, Dr. Christa loves serving as a coxswain for crews on the Willamette, discovering new unique eateries, and exploring the great outdoors with her dog and fiancé.
Haleigh Schrote, DVM

Haleigh Schrote, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Haleigh graduated from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017 and has been practicing veterinary medicine in Oregon since. She joined Milner’s team in January 2021, and although she loves all aspects of small animal medicine, she is particularly fond of surgery and the care of geriatric patients. Dr. Haleigh is originally from Maryland, though she had also lived in Georgia and Indiana before moving to Oregon. She currently lives with her senior cat, Peebes.
